Julie and Danielle Puett are on a mission. The pair not only wants to make your dog neat and clean on the outside, they also want to improve your pet's internal health as well!

The mother-daughter team are the owners of Romper Groom, located on Alpine Avenue in Navarre.

Romper Groom offers dog bathing, haircuts, toenails, ear cleaning and tooth brushing. All of the dogs are bathed with detergent-free shampoos filled with rich natural oils, including jojoba and aloe. After their baths, the dogs are placed under cool air dryers, which blow at room temperature. The dogs are never left unattended, and are in a home away from home while they get all gussied up.

"The reason we decided to open this shop is because we used to do grooming at a vet clinic and got tired of seeing dogs with cancer, diabletes and other illnesses, caused by the food they were eating,"Julie said. "Some of the dog food on the market is overly processed, and the vitamins are taken out of the food. We wanted to offer a healthy altenative for pet food." The high quality brands that Romper Groom offers include Halo, Solid Gold and Wysong. They will also be adding other high-quality brands to their selection as well.
